"Mission Siret" has equipped a secondary school in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi with a much-needed generator. This ensures that classes can continue even during power outages caused by the war.

The students welcomed the volunteers with great joy and expressed their heartfelt thanks for the support. During their visit, the volunteers spoke with the children, learning more about their daily lives and the challenges they face amidst the war. A particularly striking moment was the tour of the school's underground shelter, which accommodates 600 of the total 1,600 students.

The space protects the children from Russian drone and missile attacks and serves as a vital refuge during air raid alerts. The handover of the generator and the interaction with the students highlighted the importance of such aid initiatives in bringing hope and stability during difficult times.
