Protection, warmth and dignity for people in Ukraine are at the centre of the joint campaign by "Mission Siret" and the Dutch "Sheltersuit Foundation". Together with our volunteers, a team from the Dutch organisation with its founder Bas Timmer is on the ground in Ukraine and is currently handing over 420 sheltersuits to local partners of "Mission Siret". The donations are going to people who are suffering from cold due to the destroyed energy infrastructure.

A sheltersuit combines a winter jacket and sleeping bag, providing warmth, protection and functionality. Large sealable inner pockets provide space for personal items, while the sewn-in scarf can also be used as sleeping goggles.
Each sheltersuit is handmade in different sizes from S to XL and comes with a waterproof backpack.
Over the past ten years, the "Sheltersuit Foundation" has distributed around 40,000 sheltersuits to homeless people and people in war and disaster zones - now also in Ukraine via "Mission Siret".
