The “Mission Siret” stove campaign has come to an end with an incredible response. Thanks to generous donations, we were able to double our self-imposed target of 500 stoves and bring 1000 of them to people in Ukraine.
Our partners, who supply the civilian population of eastern Ukraine with donations in kind on our behalf, keep telling us how necessary this is. Living conditions there have deteriorated extremely during the third winter of war.
Our stoves can now be used there as both heat sources and cooking places. They are produced by the Westphalian company “Heitmann & Wittler”, which offered us the entire delivery at cost price and has currently reached its production limits. Just like “Mission Siret”, the manufacturers had not expected such a large volume of donations. While 200 ovens were produced for us in 2022, 300 were produced last year before this year's order was repeatedly increased.
