For their second deployment in Siret, the rotation of Swedish Johanniter had a practical donation with them: two yellow ambulances from the aid organisation "Johanniterhjälpen". The ambulance has now been handed over to our partner organisation "TIKOFUND" in Kyiv, which will equip it with dental equipment and then use it to regularly travel to eastern Ukraine to treat patients there. Following a general overhaul in Siret, the ambulance went to the hospital in Ternopil.
The Swedish St John Ambulance provided its own rotation for the first time in 2024. Since then, close cooperation has been established with "Mission Siret". Twice a month, the Swedes send a lorry to Siret loaded with medical supplies and equipment. The donations are distributed to hospitals and retirement homes via the "Mission Siret" network.
