At the beginning of the month, we once again realised the personal risk that Ukrainian organisations take when distributing aid supplies from ‘Mission Siret’ to the east of the country. In a missile attack on a hotel in Krywyi Rih, near Zaporizhia, our partner Ihor was miraculously unharmed. However, the two vans he had used to transport the donations in kind to the region were completely destroyed and he was able to recover the donations from the cars after the attack. Ihor describes his impressions from the scene in a video. ‘Mission Siret’ is currently looking for suitable minibuses for him, as he wants to continue delivering donations to the region.
