Generator campaign "Electricity for Ukraine”

With much of the infrastructure destroyed, we are supporting the civilian population in eastern Ukraine with mobile generators.

Stove campaign "Donate warmth"

Our stove campaign came to an end with an incredible response. Thanks to generous donations, we were able to double our self-imposed target of 500 stoves and deliver 1000 of them to people in Ukraine. We delivered 200 stoves in the winter of 2022 and 300 in 2023. The manufacturing company "Heitmann & Wittler" offered us the stoves again this year at cost price, but has now reached its production limits.

Who we are

We are a European humanitarian aid project of Johanniter.

We serve:

  • people in need in Ukraine
  • European solidarity
  • as a platform for other international aid projects

We primarily have young adults serving on site in Siret/Romania and the Ukraine.

Mission Siret was launched by volunteers immediately after the outbreak of the war of aggression in Ukraine. Under the patronage of the Johanniter Orden (Order of St. John), we have been a reliable partner for those seeking help on the ground in Ukraine since March 2022.

Donations in kind

Donations in kind such as food, medicine and hygiene products are urgently needed in Ukraine. We accept these both in our warehouse in Enger/Germany as well as in Siret/Romania. We are grateful for donations in kind from companies and private individuals.

Volunteers

Every week, around six to eight volunteers work in our base camp in Siret/Romania. From there, we support people in need, primarily in western Ukraine. We are always looking for volunteers for this work.
